The family of the late Jim (James) Flanagan wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement, those who sent condolences, brought food, sent messages and online condolences, and those who attended the removal and Funeral Mass.

A heartfelt thank you to all who cared for Dad his doctor, his carer, the nurses and night nurses who looked after him with such kindness in his final moments. We extend our thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours, who helped in every way possible through a very difficult and heartbreaking time, we are forever grateful.

To Fr Casey for his guidance and celebration of the Funeral Mass, to the choir and organist, and to Noel Bermingham for the beautiful music during the Mass.

Instead of Mass cards, donations were kindly made at Dad’s funeral to Milford Care Centre, in memory of Jim. A total of €1,105 was raised. We are truly grateful for the generosity shown, which will help the Centre continue their mission of providing exceptional, person centred care to patients and families. Milford Care Centre have also expressed their deep gratitude for this support, which enables them to continue enhancing patient and family experiences and to contribute to vital work.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Forever loved and sadly missed by your children,  grandchildren and extended family.
