The family of the late Joan Clarke (née Gelletlie) of Clondara, Ashford, Co. Wicklow would like to express our sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy, kindness and support we received during our recent loss.

We are very thankful to everyone who sent cards, letters, flowers and messages of condolence and to those who donated to the Irish Cancer Society in Joan’s memory.

To all those who visited the funeral home, attended the funeral and lined the funeral route, we are truly grateful. A special thanks to the members of the Irish Girl Guides and the past presidents of Wicklow Rugby Club for their guard of honour.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Professor Helen Enright and her team at Tallaght University Hospital for their exceptional care throughout Joan’s illness.

Thank you to Fr Eamonn Crossan for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass and our heartfelt thanks to the Kelly family for the wonderful music.  Many thanks to Flannery’s Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.

Please know that we have taken great comfort from the wonderful support extended to each and every one of us during this difficult time.

Joan’s Month's Mind Mass will be held this Saturday, 5th March, 2022 at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Ashford at 6.00pm.
