Joan's husband Paddy, sons Conal and Turlough and the entire family circle, wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who offered support, sympathy and consoling words to them following their unexpected and sad loss on June 17th.

Since Paddy was in Covid isolation during the wake and the funeral, we are so grateful to the many people who attended Joan's wake in the Lonergan Funeral Home, and who spoke to Paddy through the on-line system and who offered words of sympathy to him especially since he could not attend Joan's wake .lt meant a lot to him to be able to be consoled at such a time.

To our wonderful neighbours who rallied around us when the sudden death of Joan was announced, we are grateful. Messages of condolences, telephone calls, letters, Mass cards and Floral tributes were gratefully received. A most sincere 'thank you'.

A most sincere 'thank you' to Rev Fr Shane Mc Caughey who celebrated Joan's funeral Mass and for his most beautiful homily on her life from childhood in 32, O' Neill St, Carrickmacross, to maturity as a Dental Assistant, and later as Medical Secretary for many years and more importantly as wife and mother. Thank you also to Tom Clarke, Padraig O'Reilly & choir for the beautiful liturgical music.

We extend our most warmest 'thank you' to Lonergan Funeral Directors, who handled Joan's Funeral arrangements in a most dignified and respectful manner and who gave us invaluable assistance in guiding us through this most distressing time.

It would be impossible to convey our gratitude to all who strove to make Joan's passing from us easy as possible, please accept this as a token of our extreme appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
