Joan (née Deegan) who died peacefully, in her 95th year, on 3rd May 2023 is pre-deceased by her husband Hugh and her beloved daughter Nitza. Her sons Hugh and Paul, daughter Siobhan (Reidy, Kilmeedy) and their families’ would like to express their gratitude to all those who sympathised with them, those who attended Joan’s Funeral, sent Mass cards and floral tributes. A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff in St Anne’s Ward, St John's Hospital and Milford Care Centre, who looked after Joan so well. Thank you to the Clergy & Clerk at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, Colette Davis organist, Catriona Brennan soloist for the music which enhanced the Mass so beautifully and those who prepared the grave in Lemenagh Cemetery. Thank you also to our kind neighbours and friends for your support and kindness. Thank you to the staff in Griffin's Funeral Home for your professionalism. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Joan’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on 10th June at 6pm in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road.
