Joan’s husband Patrick, children Fidelma, Niall, Kevin & Louise & all her family would like to extend their most sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support shown to them throughout Joan’s passing & during the time since.
Thank you to the many people who visited the funeral home & those who attended Joan’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, most especially those who travelled long distances. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards & floral tributes, those who conveyed such warm wishes & fond memories online, those who phoned or text & all those who couldn’t be present but joined us via the church webcam. Thank you also to those who donated generously to Wicklow Hospice in Joan’s memory;
Our most heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for their wonderful care & their kindness to us all, to Arklow Cancer Support Group for their endless guidance & assistance & to the team at Wicklow Hospice for the comfort, dignity & care they brought to Joan’s final week. Thank you also to Dr Bentley & his team at Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery & to the kind & helpful staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy.
Warmest thanks to Fr. Martin Jose for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Karla Tracey & Bridget Kenny for such wonderful music.
To our family where nothing was ever too much trouble & to our neighbours & friends, your support will never be forgotten.
Thank you also to the management and staff of the Arklow Golf Club for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Joan’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Joan Jordan for Sunday 9th March at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
