The family of the Late Joan Loughman, Rockville House, Dundalk Road, Castleblayney, who died on 30th of August 2023, would like to acknowledge with deep appreciation your kind expression of sympathy.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to many friends, neighbours, relatives and well wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, the funeral mass, burial and who provided emotional and practical support to us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence, as well as those who made charitable donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund, we are truly grateful.
To Irish Homecare, Ann Keenan and Anne Hanratty, To Palliative Care, Niamh Rudden and Denise Shipply also Dr. Mary Flanagan. To you all we are forever indebted.
Mammy would have been proud of the guard of honour from her much loved Castleblayney Faughs as the funeral cortege made its way from our home towards the church, also the staff of Annyalla National School, we thank you for this kind gesture.
For those who gave their time so generously to make the funeral mass a true celebration of mam’s life, a special word of thanks to St. Mary’s Church Choir, the readers, Andrea Gallen and mam’s niece Bronagh Moore. Last but not least to Fr. Adrian Walsh and Fr. Brian D’Arcy for their preparations, the sermon and kind words, it was truly special.
To those who managed the car parking, making tea and refreshments throughout the wake and funeral and those who prepared mam’s final resting place with such care and attention, you could not have done a better job! Thank you.
To Conor Hughes Funeral Director, for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements and to anyone else who helped ease our burden, we hold you dearly in our prayers.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
Joan’s month's memory mass will be celebrated on September 30th at 6pm in St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney.
