 Joan Murphy
(née Farley)

Athlone, Westmeath / Kinsale, Cork

As we lovingly remember our mother and grandmother, JOAN, on her first anniversary, we, her daughters Elaine and Yvonne, along with her grandson Conor, wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with and supported us following our sad loss.

Heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and all who attended the Funeral Mass, either in person or virtually, the committal service in Mount Jerome and the interment of ashes service in St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale.

To all those who sent messages, Mass cards and online condolences, shared fond memories, and travelled long distances to be with us, we are truly grateful. Your support and kindness will always be remembered.

Thanks to Fr. John; musicians:  Bernard and Patrice Coyle and all those who participated in making the Funeral Mass a lovely ceremony; to the team at Mount Jerome Crematorium; to Fr. Robert in Kinsale for his thoughtful service and to Martin O’Neill, St. Eltin's for his care and attention.  We are also very grateful to Flynn’s Funeral Directors for their guidance and professionalism.

A special word of thanks to all Joan’s friends in the Active Retirement Clubs for the guard of honour at her Funeral Mass.

We sincerely thank each and every one of you who helped and supported us in any way.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Joan’s first anniversary mass will take place on Sunday 25th January, 2026 at 10:30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace, Coosan.  Online at www.churchservices.tv/coosan
