 Joanne Daly
(née Moloney)

Ballincollig, Cork / Kilmore, Clare

The family of the late Joanne Daly (nee Moloney), Ballincollig, Cork & formerly Aherina, Kilmore, Co. Clare, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Thank you to all our family, friends, neighbours and local communities.  A special thanks to all who travelled long distances to be with us. Thanks to all who called to our homes, brought food, telephoned, sent tributes through cards or messages of condolences and who attended the funeral - we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to all who came to Joanne’s assistance when she became ill -  the paramedic team, management, consultants, nurses and all the staff of Cork University Hospital.  Thank you for all your care, kindness, respect and compassion shown at all times.  Thank you to those who helped and participated in Joanne’s funeral service, Dave Barry, Trish Thompson and Fr. Liam O’h-Icí and especially to Joanne’s dear friends in the Oven’s Choir for their beautiful singing.  Thank you to all Joanne’s ex colleagues in An Garda Siochana for providing escort, guard of honour and traffic management.  To all in Ballincolling GAA for providing food and refreshments, thank you.  To Crowley’s Funeral Home Ballincollig, especially to Michael, thank you all for your utmost professionalism and compassion.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable.  As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered in memory of Joanne and for your intentions on Saturday, 7th October, at 7pm in St John the Baptist Church, Ovens, Cork.
