Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

 

In loving memory of Joe Coker

whose First Anniversary occurs on

8th April 2025.

 

As we lovingly remember Joe on his First Anniversary, his wife Marion, daughter Elaine, son Jonathan, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Vivienne and grandchildren Eoin, Kyle, Shay and Joie would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us during this difficult year. We as a family wish to express our deepest gratitude to all of those who sympathized with us and sent cards and condolences during this very sad and difficult time.

 

We want to thank the doctors and nurses of St. Finbarr’s Ward in the Mercy Hospital for the kind care given to Joe in is final days, also his GPs, Antoinette Morrison and John Sheehan for the wonderful care they gave Joe throughout the years. We would also like to thank Coughlan’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism shown towards Joe.

 

 A very special thank you to George and Margaret O’Keeffe for the support they gave to us during Joe’s illness, also the neighbours in Killeen’s Place and his wonderful nieces Ailish and Emer. We’d also like to thank Geraldine and the staff at Geaney’s Bar and the Cork Regional Bowlers, especially his friends in the bog road and Whitechurch.

 

I lost a husband,

With a heart of Gold.

How much I miss him,

Can never be told.

We cannot bring the old days back,

When we were all together.

The family chain is broken now,

But memories last forever.

 

No matter how life changes,

No matter what I do.

A special place within my heart,

Is always kept for you.

No farewell was spoken,

No time to say goodbye.

You were gone before we knew,

And only God knows why.

 

This is not a goodbye, it’s until we see you again xxx
