 Joe Craven

Agall, Screggan, Tullamore, Offaly

Joe (1938-2020) passed away on Easter Sunday, 12th April 2020.  We, Joe's wife Vera, his daughters Deirdre, Kathy and Gemma, his son Brian, together with the extended family, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

Sincere thanks for the prayers, Mass cards, letters, phone-calls, messages of sympathy, donations to the Irish Cancer Society and flowers, all of which have been of great comfort to us during this difficult time.

Our heartfelt thanks to all our relations, neighbours, friends and colleagues. Your sympathy, kindness and generosity kept us going.  To everyone who lined the funeral route and attended the churchyard and graveyard, thank you.  Your support meant a lot to us.

We express our gratitude to all those who nursed and cared for Joe, especially the staff of the Oncology Department of the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore.  Thank you too to the teams in Edgewater Medical Centre and Rose Finlay Pharmacy, the Public Health nurses, the Palliative Nursing team and carers and the Irish Cancer Society.  Special thanks to Bernie for your home visits and wonderful care.

Thank you to Fr. Martin Carley and Fr. Frank Guinan for their visits and prayers and for giving us a beautiful Requiem Mass for Daddy.   Sincere thanks to Tommy and his team at Lawless Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and support.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as expression of our deepest gratitude.  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
