The Family of the late Joe(Jody) Murphy, Wogansfield, Leixlip, who died on the 5th October 2025, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our great loss.

We offer our deepest gratitude to the many friends and neighbours who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial, and who provided emotional and practical support during this difficult time.  For those who telephoned, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence, and to those who provided refreshments throughout the week at home and for the funeral, your kindness will never be forgotten.

A special word of thanks to Dr Coakley and his team at Kelly Medical Centre, and to Angela from the Palliative Care team we could not have got through this without your guidance and compassion.  Sincere thanks to Professor Faul and his team in Blanchardstown Hospital for the care and attention given over the past three years.  Also a special thank you to the community nurses and to our neighbour Fiona Bassett for her help in caring for him at home.  Thank you also to the Rye Pharmacy Leixlip.

To our wonderful neighbours and friends in Wogansfield,  thank you for your unwavering support, we are truly blessed to live in such a wonderful place.  Our sincere appreciation to Leixlip GAA for their kindness, support, refreshments and the beautiful Guard of Honour, and to the local Gardai for their assistance with the traffic and the escort to the church. 

To his amazing brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, thank you for being by our side every step of the way, your love and support meant the world to us all.

To Fr Aloysius Zuribo, for the lovely mass, and the funeral team for their guidance and professionalism, and for leading prayers in our home, thank you. 

Finally our heartfelt thanks to Reilly's Undertakers especially Paul and William, your professionalism, care and compassion were exceptional. We are truly grateful he was in such capable hands and the gentle way you guided us through everything. 

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
