The family of the late Joe Savage would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent loss. We would like to thank all those who called to the house, those who telephoned, sent text messages, sympathy cards, Mass cards and messages of condolences online.
We would also like to thank those who attended the Funeral Mass in St Fergal’s Church and those who travelled long distances to attend.
Thank you to dads’ brothers, sisters, in-laws and extended family who were there to support us. And our neighbours and friends who supported us during and after.
Thank you to Garda Richie and Garda Cian from Bray Garda station who showed the utmost professionalism on the night of dad’s death.
Thank you to Dr Daly and Dr O’Sullivan who have looked after dad for many years and also to the Rheumatology Team in St Vincent’s Hospital Elm Park who fought for years to keep dad’s pain under control and keep him mobile.
A special thank you to Mark Kinsella Funeral Directors for their high level of professionalism and support to our family and to the grave diggers who prepared dad’s final resting place alongside mum.
Thank you to Fr. Jimmy for the beautiful funeral Mass and thank you is extended to the sacristans, organist and singer.
To Ken Featherston, Lisa and all the staff of the Rochestown Lodge who went over and above anything we could have expected to give dad a fantastic send off, we are forever in your debt.
While we know it is not possible to thank everyone individually, a Mass will be offered for your intentions as our way of expressing our deep gratitude to each of you.
