The family of the late Joe Mc Clean wish to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. We offer a heartfelt thanks to our friends, neighbours and relatives in Derry and Donegal, who visited our home, brought gifts, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards, left messages on social media, attended the wake, Requiem Mass and burial, helped during the wake and those who travelled long distances.A special word of thanks to all the medical staff at Altnagelvin hospital for the great care that was shown to Joe and the support given to the family at this difficult time.Special thanks to W.J.O’Brien & Son, Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the caring, professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were conducted. We would like to thank Father Eddie Gallagher Moville for his spiritual support, guidance and lovely Requiem Mass and a special thanks to the priest in Altnagelvin hospital. Thank you to Fr John Mc Devitt, Steelstown Parish for all the prayers and support. A special thanks to Fidelma McNamee for the lovely singing and music at the Requiem Mass. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our sincere gratitude.

Joe’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Columba’s Church, Ballinacrae, Co Donegal, on Sunday 14th May 2023, at 12 o’clock.
