Spain Joe - Gurtymadden, Loughrea, Co. Galway. 

The family of the late Joe Spain, who passed away on October 4th, 2024 would like to thank all those who attended Joe's funeral and visited our home.  For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

Thank you to all our neighbours, his work colleagues and many friends for attending the funeral and sending many messages of support at this difficult time.

We wish to thank the Ambulance Crew and  medical team in University Hospital Galway A&E and ICU for the excellent care and comfort given to Joe. A special thank you to the wonderful team from Organ Donation who looked after Joe. Thanks to Fr Niall Foley PP and Fr. Neylon, Fr. Mc Inerney and Fr. Mc. Caffery for officiating in the Funeral Mass.

Thanks to Carmel Dempsey for the beautiful singing and music. Thanks also to Dignity Funeral Care for their professionalism and kindness during this time. Thank you to the grave diggers for preparing Joes final resting place.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
