Johanna (Josie) Kinsella (née Doyle) of Blacklion, Greystones, Co. Wicklow, formerly Cooladine, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. Died April 8th 2025, aged 97 years.

Johanna’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time to sympathise, sent messages, phoned, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes, attended the Funeral Mass and joined us at Redford Cemetery where Johanna was laid to rest with her beloved husband Jim who died March 20th 1975. Special thanks to all of our wonderful work colleagues for their support over the past number of months but especially over the time of the funeral. Thank you also to Rev Fr Gerard Tyrrell, Rev Fr Des Hayden and Rev Fr Joe Kennedy for celebrating such a beautiful Funeral Mass, to the wonderful musicians and singers for enhancing the Mass, the funeral ministry team, sacristan Theresa, Tom and Joe for preparing her final resting place, to Liz, Pat, Billy, Evelyn, Mary, Noelle, Dr Judy McNulty and the entire team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home Greystones - your professionalism, love and compassion that was shown to both Johanna and us as a family will never be forgotten, Minister Stephen Donnelly for all of his help, Fiona Roche and her team at Fiona Roche Pharmacy Blacklion, Helen and Derek from Bluebells Florist, Jim Melody and the team at Greystones Golf Club for their hospitality and Mark Kinsella Funeral Directors- Mark and Cian, (Johanna’s grandson and great-grandson) along with Paul and Gavin for their professionalism and attention to detail. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Johanna’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday May 4th 2025 at 10am in St. Kilian’s Church, Blacklion, Greystones.
