The family of the late John McDonnell formerly of Avoca and Bray, Co. Wicklow would like to thank most sincerely all neighbours, family and friends who sympathised and supported us in person and from afar on the passing of John on the 4th Dec 2025.

All of the recollections you shared with us of his gentleness and wisdom gave us great comfort.

The family also wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathized with us in Jan 2021 on the passing of our mother Lilian. The warm messages and memories shared with us then gave us such great comfort during what was a most difficult period compounded by pandemic restrictions at that time.

Sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at St Vincents Hospital, John and Lilian's GPs and Pharmacist, the emergency services and Colliers Funeral Home for the great dignity , care and support they provided.

Mam and Dad, always remembered , rest in peace.
