The family of the late John ‘Bob’ Foy, who died on 10 November 2020, would like to acknowledge the expressions of sympathy, gestures of kindness and the support extended to us in our sad loss.

We express our gratitude to those involved in his care, especially the staff of Letterkenny University Hospital who took care of him during his short stay there. We thank those who sent cards, messages of condolence and floral tributes. Thank you to all our family, friends and supportive neighbours who gathered outside our home on the morning of the funeral and to those who formed Guards of Honour outside the Church and at Finn Park.

A special thank you to Fr Kieran McAteer for celebrating the Requiem Mass, and for his presence, support and prayers at the wake. Thank you to those who participated in the Mass and to Gerard McCool & Son Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and support.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
