 John Duffy

Magheracloone, Monaghan

The family of the late John Duffy, Killygally, Carrickmacross who passed away peacefully on the 3rd of March 2024 would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.

We greatly appreciate the phone calls, Mass cards, letters, flowers, food and messages of condolences on RIP.ie and Facebook. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who came out to show their respect, at the house, wake, funeral & graveyard. Also thank you to our extended family, neighbours and friends who supported us in so many ways.

We would like to thank all the groups, Magheracloone Football Club, Gun Club, Water Scheme, and farmers who stood as guard of honour, and those who assisted with the parking at both the house and funeral.

We are very thankful to medical personnel who assisted in the care of John. These include and are not limited to, Ana Lyons, the public health nurses and primary care team in Carrickmacross, the palliative care team, the Home Instead carers, Dr. Miriam Clarke and the staff at the Group Practice in Cloughvalley, the paramedics and the Oriel 1 staff in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

A word of thanks to Kieran Bros. Funeral Care in Kingscourt for your guidance and advice throughout, always professional, courteous and kind.

Thank you to Fr. Michael Jordan for celebrating such a thoughtful Mass, which really reflected John as a person. We would also like to extend our thanks to all who participated in the funeral mass, Liebe Kelly for the beautiful music, the sacristan, the Eucharistic ministers, the grave diggers, Blossom Tree Print, the community hall and Commins of Ardee for the catering.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

No matter how life changes,

No matter what we do,

A special place within our hearts,

Will always be kept for you.

John's Months Mind Mass will be held on Sunday 31st March at 09.30am
in
St. Patrick's Church, (The Rockchapel) Upper Magheracloone.
