The family of the late John Hanratty, Mount Carmel Windmill Road, who passed away peacefully on the 14th of January 2022, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We appreciate the phone calls, messages, mass cards, letters, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie. Our sincere thanks to all the staff at Our Lady’s of Lourdes Hospital and James Conolly Hospital for the wonderful care and kindness shown to John during his illness.

Thank you to Father Aidan for such a beautiful mass. Thank to neighbours and friends who supported us, by joining us in person or via live streamed mass to pay tribute to John, we were overwhelmed by the turn out. A special thank you to Johns wonderful colleagues at St. Marys Diocese and the guard of honour, it was truly special. Thank you to Townley family for all their help and guidance during this difficult time. And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Caoimhe, who helped us more then she will ever know.

John will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered and cherished. His months mind will be held on Sunday the 13th of February at 12:00pm in Our Lady’s of Lourdes Church.
