 John Mc ARDLE

Dundalk, Louth

We John’s family would like to express our  heartfelt gratitude to those who sympathised with us in any way on our great loss, your stories, comforting messages, warm embraces helped us through those sorrowful days.   We offer our thanks and sincere appreciation to our amazing extended family, neighbours and friends who offered us emotional and practical support not only throughout the wake and funeral but during daddy’s illness, these acts of kindness and support will remain forever in our hearts.

We offer a special word of thanks to Fr Dermot who visited Daddy during his illness and for his prayers, guidance and lovely funeral mass.

We are so grateful to Dearbhla for the beautiful music.

Thanks also to Brendan Garvey and his team we appreciate all your help and direction at this sorrowful time.

Thanks to Mona and her team for the refreshments after the funeral and to Crossmaglen Rangers for the guard of honour and the use of the hall.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

”Don’t weep at my grave, for I am not there, I’ve a date with a butterfly to dance in the air.  I’ll be singing in the sunshine, wild and free, playing tag with the wind, while I wait for thee.”

John’s Months Mind will be on Sunday 14th September 2025 at 12 noon in St Patrick’s Crossmaglen.
