John’s wife Nancy, daughters Karen and Orla, son Sean together with his grandchildren, brothers, sisters and the extended family wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss of a much loved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Thank you to all those who sent mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy, watched on webcam, attended the funeral Mass and/or burial.

We are grateful for all the prayers offered and candles lit for John. We offer our heartfelt appreciation to the many relatives, friends and neighbours for your emotional and practical support in these most difficult times. A special word of thanks to Fr Dunphy, Fr Des McGillicuddy and Fr Lawton for the lovely celebration of John’s life.  Thank you to all those who took part in the ceremony.  Finally, thanks to the medical and support staff in St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny who cared for John in his final weeks and to R. Healy & Son Funeral Directors for their caring and professional support. 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

As a token of our appreciation the holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The month’s mind Mass for John will be celebrated on Sunday, September 20th, at 11.30am in St. Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen.
