On the First Anniversary of John's death, he is fondly remembered by his wife Ann, Seán, Máire, Siobhán, Micheál, Áine, Pádraig, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters Maura, Ann, Joan, Assumpta, brother Paddy and extended family and friends. We would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us, sent Mass Cards or attended personally in such huge numbers.

Also thank you to Gold Coast Golf Club members, Gold Coast Staff, Abbeyside/Ballinacourty GAA Club members, and Hurlers Association members for their guards of honour and many fine tributes.

We wish to express thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of High Street Medical Centre, Dungarvan Community Hospital, Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, Louise and Waterford Hospice Palliative Care Team, Grace, Mary and the local Homecare Team, Joe Kelly and staff, Ray Bradfield and Staff.

Thank you to Fr. Ned Hassett P.P. who ministered to John and celebrated his Funeral Mass, also Eileen O'Donovan, ushers and volunteers at Abbeyside Parish Church. To Sinéad Kiely and Dina Walshe who provided beautiful music. To David, Margaret and Darragh Kiely for their care and professionalism throughout, we will be forever grateful. The family wishes to thank everyone for their continued support and the Holy Sacrament of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine's Church, Abbeyside at 7pm on Saturday, 22nd October 2022.
