ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND FIRST ANNIVERSARY
JOHN O'CALLAGHAN
who sadly passed away on the 09/04/2021
On John's First Anniversary his heartbroken family wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us during and following our sad and sudden loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to our family and John's family, to Rachel and our friends and neighbours, the friends of Daniel, Scott and Kyle and all who visited our home and provided us with support during a difficult time, and those who called, sent flowers, Mass cards and messages of condolences, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to the Medics, the ambulance crew, and doctors at CUH.
To Fr. Walsh for the beautiful funeral service and the spreading of John's ashes, we thank you.
A sincere thank you to John's G.P., Dr Mary Favier, for her ongoing support and all whose kindness and care of both John and us as a family, will never be forgotten.
Thanks to all John's friends at St. Mary's AFC especially for their Guard of Honour at The Church of the Resurrection Farranree and St Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully, he would have been so proud of you all. To everyone who participated in John's funeral and cremation we thank you.
Thanks to Joe Coughlan and his amazing staff for their professionalism, care and support, we will always be grateful. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Those special memories of you
will always bring a smile,
if only we could have you back
for just a little while,
Then we could sit and talk again
just like we used to do,
you always meant so very much
and always will do too,
The fact that you're no longer here
will always cause us pain,
but you're forever in our heart's
until we meet again.
It’s lonely here without you
We miss you more each day,
For life is not the same to us
Since you were called away,
To your resting place, we visit
Place flowers there with care,
But no one knows our heartache
When we turn and leave you there.
You'll Never Walk Alone.
