1st Anniversary 9th July

As we lovingly remember John on his 1st Anniversary,  his wife Kathleen, his brothers and  sisters and extended family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We extend our thanks to those who attended his funeral Mass, burial, those who sent Mass cards, letters, calls, texts and messages on RIP.ie. To the many people who stood outside the church and lined the route to the cemetery and those who watched John’s funeral Mass online, we thank you for joining us.

Sincere thanks  to Fr. Larry Kelly  and to Fr. Padraig Sugrue for concelebrating John’s Requiem Mass. Thanks to Emma O’Shea for her singing.

We would like to thank Daly Funeral Directors, and family who carried out the funeral in a professional, helpful and sensitive  manner. A special thanks to Aoife Daly for her invaluable guidance and assistance. Thanks to the gravediggers who carefully prepared John’s final resting place.  

Thanks to Prof. Kiernan and his team of consultants, doctors and nurses of the Acute Cardiac Care Unit of U.H.L and all the staff for the wonderful care to John during his short illness and to the kindness and empathy they showed us at the time of our greatest sadness.

Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
