The family of the late John Redmond of Rathfarnham (also of Ranelagh) who died on 11th February 2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many family, friends, and neighbours who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and those who sent flowers, mass cards, letters of sympathy, messages of condolence and gave donations in John's memory. 

A special word of thanks to all those who took care of John, the ambulance crew, paramedics, carers, primary healthcare centre staff and the doctors, nurses and staff in St James Hospital and Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross.

We thank all those who participated in John's Funeral Mass, the celebrant Rev. Fr. Martin Cosgrove, the funeral ministry, church volunteers for a beautiful service and to the musicians who played and sang so beautifully.  To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. 

The First Anniversary Mass for John will be held on 16th February 2025, 11.30am  in the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
