Acknowledgement and First Anniversary
We, the family of the late Johnny Healy (John Healy Coach Hire Ltd) of Dublin Road, Rochfortbridge, Co. Westmeath who died on 16th February 2021, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our heartbreaking loss of our beloved Dad, grandad, husband, brother, uncle and special friend.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, employees and colleagues, our dear neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, viewed the service online and attended the burial and all those who came to show respect along the route from Dad's home to the Church (on what had to be one of the wettest and coldest days), we were humbled by all the support. For those who telephoned, sent text messages, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences on RIP.ie, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Fr William Coleman, Fr Liam Carey and Fr Barry Condron for the meaningful Funeral service, conducted with such reverence and care. Kathryn Nea for the beautiful music and singing. To Johnny's good friends who called into him regularly and put a smile on his face, a huge Thank You. The Palliative Care team, the public health nurses and especially Áine Daly, also Dr Healy and his team, Donagh McTiernan (Careplus) and his team for all their help. Frank Byrne, John Reilly, Padraig Nannery who helped with the Funeral but to his 3 grandsons Darragh, Ryan and Harry who looked after the Funeral on the day, he would be so proud. The gravediggers Leo and Peter. Bagnalls Pub - Peter and Joanne Newman for the endless supply of food and also food from our friends and neighbours.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Johnny's First Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, 13th February, at 11.30am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge.
