The family of the late Joe Blee wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported us on our recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters, messages of sympathy on RIP.ie, those who telephoned, those who left tributes and messages online, those who made donations to Friends of Letterkenny Hospital, those who sent flowers, brought food and to our friends and neighbours who have been so generous and supportive through this difficult time. We also wish to thank friends, neighbours and relations who while complying with guidelines stood out and lined the road and gathered outside the church on Joe’s final journey. We would like to thank the members of the Ballybofey and Stranorlar Golf Club and Bridge Club for forming a socially distant guard of honour. We would also like to thank those that watched the Mass online. A special thanks to Fr Patsy Arkinson for a lovely funeral Mass and Alice Gildea for her beautiful music. Sincere thanks to McCool’s funeral directors for handling all the arrangements with great care and dignity. Thanks to the staff at Letterkenny General Hospital for their care and support and Fr Martin Chambers for his prayers and company. It is impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrament of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
