The family of the late Joe Parlon would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone for their sympathy, love and support during our recent loss.

We deeply appreciate all who attended at the house, funeral home, funeral Mass and burial, those who posted messages of condolences on RIP.ie, gave Mass cards, floral tributes and travelled long distances to be with us. Thanks to all who donated to Birr MHA. Special thanks to Fr Kieran Blake assisted by Fr Michael O'Meara for the lovely funeral Mass and touching eulogy. Thanks to Geraldine and the parish choir for the lovely music and singing. Thanks to sacristan Helen, alter servers, grave diggers, parking stewards, Patsy and Luke for their touching musical tributes at the graveside.

Thanks to all who donated food and refreshments throughout the funeral days. Thanks to Coolderry Hall Committee for serving food to all who attended. In particular, we wish to thank all the organisations who formed guards of honours on both days.

Thanks to Dr PJ McAuliffe and staff, Liam Butler Pharmacy, Birr Gardaí, Birr First Responders and emergency services for their help and kindness to us.

Our heartfelt thanks to our many relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us and continue to offer comfort and assistance to us. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the Mass is being offered for your intentions.
