Joseph (Josie) O'Connor

 Joseph (Josie) O'Connor

Dunmore Gardens, Knocknaheeny, Cork

The family of the late Joseph (Josie) O Connor of (Dunmore Gardens, Knocknaheeney) who died on (01/01/2023) would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, and family members who sent flowers, Mass cards, letters of sympathy, messages of condolence, memorial gifts; and travelled long distances.

A special word of thanks to Coughlans Funeral Directors and Fr Cian O'Sullivan, doctors, matron, nurses and staff of CUH Hospital.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Just because you cannot see me

Does not mean I'm not there

Just because I am in Heaven

Does not mean I do not care

 I often see you crying

You often say my name

I want to hold you tight

I want to ease your pain

It's easy for me

For I know heaven real

If you knew the truth

How much better would you feel

One day we will  meet again

But only when the time is right

When you step out of the Darkness

I will be standing in the light

The First Anniversary Mass for Joseph will be held on 30/12/23 at 6.00 in St Mary's on the Hill.
All welcome.
