The family of the late Josephine Kiernan, Harmony Heights, Drogheda, who passed away peacefully on Friday 14 November would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the messages, Mass cards, condolences and gestures sent and shown to us over this difficult time. Our sincere thanks to the carers and nurses who attended Josephine in her final years and days. Special thanks to Cheryl, Alison, Rosemary, Birgitte, Amalie, Samantha, Eve and the night nurse Yvonne, who helped Josephine and the family so much throughout the last two years.

Thanks to Our Lady of Lourdes Church and Fr. Des for attending Josephine in the final week and providing a lovely Funeral Mass. Thanks to Barry and Helen Leahy and Mary Duff for the beautiful music throughout the ceremony. Special thanks too to Carole Burke and family for their help and support during Josephine’s reposing at home. Sincere thanks to Townley’s Funeral Directors who provided kind, caring guidance and support during the most difficult days and beyond.

We would like to thank the neighbours and friends who called upon the family during the last few weeks, and to all the family and friends who travelled from around Ireland and abroad to be with us at this sad time. Your kindness and consideration will be remembered always.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.

Josephine’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Sunday 14 Dec at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Drogheda at 12 o’clock.

Josephine will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.
