Kathleen’s daughter Mary and her son Les, together with their families and Kathleen’s extended family, would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the recent sad loss of our wonderful Mum and Nana, Kathleen.
A heartfelt thanks to all who joined us at Kathleen’s wake at the house, the funeral Mass and interment and to those who travelled long distances, sent Mass cards, flowers and messages of condolence. To the community of neighbours and friends who helped at the house during the wake and the gentlemen who directed traffic.
To Fr. Little and Fr. Wallace, the clergy who conducted a lovely Mass and to the beautiful voice of Tina Kavanagh together with Kathleen’s granddaughter Zoe. We remember the staff and residents of Sue Ryder House, Carlow who were such a big part of Kathleen’s life. To the Many carers that Kathleen met in the past while, too many to mention individually.
To the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and the National Ambulance Service, all who gave such gentle care and comfort to Kathleen. To Rory Healy, Funeral Director and staff for their professionalism and for the dignity they afforded Kathleen, this has given us enormous strength during this extremely difficult time. To all who loved and cared for Kathleen, we will pray for you all and your kindness will stay with us all forever.
Mary, Les, David, Trish,
Zoe, Niamh, Caitriona, Cathal, Edel and Rebecca.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude. As a token of our appreciation the holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
