We, Michael and Teresa, the family of the late Katie (Catherine) McCoy, Lisgall, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan / Castlemartyr, Cork, who died on the 13th December 2023, would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us. We got great comfort from everyone who sent Mass Cards and messages of condolence online, sent flowers, attended the wake and funeral Mass. A special thanks to those who kept a vigil and said prayers at her wake. It was very much appreciated by us as a family.
To Fr Daly, Donaghmoyne Parish Priest for the beautiful funeral Mass and kind words that he spoke about our mum. A special thanks to those who assisted by bringing up symbols of her life, those who did readings, prayers of the faithful, Eucharistic ministers and to Lisdoonan choir for the beautiful music and singing. To the family, neighbours and friends who helped at the wake and Mass, we greatly valued your help and support and your kindness will not be forgotten.
To Shane Connolly and his staff for preparing our mum's medication over many years and taking time with us on many occasions to explain about changes and additions to her medications, we thank you. Our thanks also to the doctors and staff in the Cloughvalley practice.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to all the staff and management of Castleross Nursing Home for the care and attention that you gave to our mum during her short stay with you. You went above and beyond and your compassion and kindness towards us as a family meant a lot to us.
To the doctors, nurses, carers and palliative care team in Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, Drogheda, who looked after our mum during her short illness. We are so grateful for the outstanding attention that mum received under your care. It was truly exemplary. Your compassion and professionalism shown to Katie and us her family was greatly appreciated.
Thank you to those who comforted our mum during her time in hospital, to all who visited her and to those who stayed with her overnight to keep her company and pray with her. Your compassion will not be forgotten

Thank you to Lisdoonan shop for all your help. To Lisdoonan Centre for the use of the community house and for the beautiful meal that was prepared for us after mum's burial.
Although we are unable to thank everyone individually we hope that this acknowledgment will be seen as a heartfelt token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
