In Loving Memory of Kay (Catherine) who passed away suddenly on 3rd March 2023.
We the family of Kay, her daughter Dara, sons Seamus, (wife Fiona), David (partner Tracey) & Paul (partner Lucy). Kay’s partner Sham (Seamus McKenna), grandchildren Naoisha and Noah, sisters Florence & Jacinta, brothers Reg, Noel and David, and all her extended family.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to those who sympathised and consoled us during our recent sad bereavement, to all who called to the house, funeral parlourand funeral mass. Those who travelled afar, sent sympathy cards, messages and phone calls of condolences. Thank you to all who thought of us in any way.
Thank you to the first responders and the Garda Siochana who came to her aid. Our appreciation to Lonergan Funeral Directors for their professional and compassionate manner in which they guided us and conducted the funeral arrangements.
A sincere thanks to Fr. Kevin Connolly who officiated the funeral mass, Fr Owen Gorman who concelebrated, and to the wonderful singers Michael Mooney, Martin McCabe and Paudric O’Reilly for your beautiful music.
A huge thank you to Carrick Cancer Society for the great care during Kay’s illness. A special thanks to Seamus O’Grady, to Lakelands Crematorium, to Shirley Arms Hotel for all the refreshments and beautiful meal and also to the local businesses, neighbours & friends who kindly brought food to the house.
Words cannot express our thanks and appreciation for the kindness, comfort, and support to the family during this time of deep loss. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude to all, the Holy Sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions by Fr Owen Gorman.
Kay’s Month Mind Mass will take place in St Joseph Church, Carrickmacross on Saturday, 15th April, at 11 am. Burial of Kay’s Ashes will follow in Carrickmacross Cemetery.
