 Kevin Looney

Grange, Cork / Athlone, Westmeath

The family of the late Kevin Looney of Ashford Court, Grange  Cork who died on 27/04/2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and cremation and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Dr. Adrian O' Donovan, The staff of the Bon Secours  St Veronicas oncology ward, the Nurses from Marymount hospice and the Irish Cancer Society Night Nursing service, all of whom cared for Kevin with great kindness and respect. Thanks also to the Men's Shed Douglas for their support to Kevin during his illness.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

Those special memories of you will always bring a smile,
if only I could have you back for just a while.
Then we could sit and talk again, just like we used to do,
you always meant so very much and always will do too.
The fact that you're no longer here, will always cause me pain,
but you're forever in my heart, until we meet again.
