Kieran Hanniffy R.I.P., Doon, Ballinahown, Athlone.

Connie, sons Ciaran, Conor his partner Alice and the wider Family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended Kieran’s reposing, funeral Mass and burial, those who called to see him during his long illness, his many friends who sent messages & had Masses celebrated. To our kind neighbours, friends & to his surviving sister Chris O’Sullivan and Kieran’s nieces, nephews & relatives in the Corrigan, Hanamy, O’Sullivan & Hanniffy families for their care & fond visits to Kieran which brought him & his family great comfort and fond memories which will be deeply cherished.

A very special word of thanks to Dr. Curran and the Doctors and nursing staff at Church St. Medical Centre Moate, to the Doctors, nurses and staff at the dialysis unit in Tullamore Hospital and especially to Dr. Bergin and his team for their exceptional care during Kierans illness. To the District nurses at Ferbane Health Centre, to his exceptional carers who were available to care for him above and beyond their requirements, which gave Kieran great comfort during a most difficult time. To the palliative care team for their comforting care during his last days.

To our kind neighbours, friends, customers, the various clubs/charities and classic car clubs for their support. To Fr. Brendan O’Sullivan for his care and support to Kieran during his illness, for his celebration of Mass and Kieran’s life. To Ballinahown Church Choir under the direction of the organist Marie Maloney. To the grave diggers and caretaker of Boher cemetery for their attention to detail. To Rothwell Funeral Directors for their professional services.

Kieran is deeply & sadly missed but will be fondly remembered by us all for his kindness, wit, charm and love for his family, vintage memorabilia, community, neighbours and friends.

As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this as a token of our gratitude for your kindness and support during this difficult time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
