Kitty Lee

 Kitty Lee
(née Madden)

Carnacrow, Headford, Galway

The Lee and Madden families would like to express our deepest thanks to all who sympathised with us following the loss of our dearly beloved Kitty. Thanks to those who called to our houses, attended her funeral, sent cards, flowers, messages of sympathy, online condolences and made phone calls. Special thanks to our friends and neighbours who provided food and assisted with catering over these days.

We were very touched by the large number of people who lined the local roads on Kitty’s journey to her home, church and onto her final resting place. Thanks to our dear friends, local schools and GAA teams who were represented in guards of honour.

Special thanks to Father Ray Flaherty, for his prayers for Kitty in our house and his beautiful funeral mass. Thanks to Don Stiffe and Geraldine Farrell for their wonderful music and singing. To Ger McGaugh and his team, we thank you for your time and attention in providing magnificent flowers for Kitty. A sincere thanks to James Carey Funeral Director for his professionalism and guidance during our difficult days. Heartfelt thanks to our special friends who prepared Kitty’s resting place so beautifully.

We extend our appreciation to Professor Maccon Keane and the entire team at Galway Clinic who looked after Kitty so well. We are also very grateful to Dr Philomena Kerrigan and her colleagues who always provided excellent care and wonderful friendship to Kitty.

Kitty made many friends in her journey through life. Each and every one of them gave her so much joy and we’re eternally grateful for this. To Kitty’s work colleagues in Natureplay and Timberplay, she shared your passion and vocation for children’s play spaces and formed many wonderful acquaintances there.

Words cannot express our deep and sincere thanks to you all. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. A mass will be offered for your intentions.
