Lee Mallaghan, Carton House, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and Pomeroy, Co. Tyrone

Lee’s wife Mary, children Conor, Bronagh, Deborah and Stephen, his brothers and sisters and all his extended family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks for the many prayers, expressions of sympathy and support they received at the time of and since Lee’s passing.

Special thanks to those who visited our home, attended Lee’s wake, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards, letters and online messages of condolence, those who travelled long distances to be with us and those who donated generously to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland. 

We would like to thank all those who cared for Lee during his illness especially those who cared for him at home, the staff of Marymount Care Centre and Connolly Hospital. We are very grateful also to all our neighbours and friends in Carton and in particular the Captains, Committee and members of Carton House Golf Club for their guard of honour at Lee's funeral. 

Sincere thanks to Mons. Eoin Thynne, Fr Frank McEvoy, Fr Paul Montague and Fr Paul Kelly for officiating at Lee's funeral mass and to Ryan Molloy and Malachy Cush for their beautiful music. 

It is impossible to thank everyone individually but we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation. 

The Month’s Mind Mass for Lee Mallaghan will be held on Sunday, 3rd July, at 1pm in St Mary's Church, Maynooth. All welcome.
