ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND FIRST ANNIVERSARY
IN LOVING MEMORY OF LIAM FIELD, WALLACES AVENUE, BALLINLOUGH WHOSE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OCCURS ON 18TH SEPTEMBER, 2024.
The sisters and brothers Eleanor, Charlie, Emmett, Brian and Judith and nieces Amy, Kate, Grace and Laura wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all especially our families and good friends who supported us at the time of Liam’s passing. To everyone who attended the Removal and Funeral, sent Mass Cards, Text Messages, flowers and the many condolences on RIP.ie.
A special Thank You to Fr. John Denver, SMA, Blackrock Road for the heartfelt Mass, Emma Nash for her beautiful singing, the readers at the Funeral Mass Des O’Brien, Jim O’Brien, David Miller, Anne Whelan and Anne Marie Horan and O’Connor’s Funeral Home for their sensitivity and navigation through this most difficult time. We would also like to thank the first responders, especially Garda Anthony Garvey and Garda Aideen Hallahan of Anglesea Street Garda Station for their help at the scene and for all their assistance afterwards. We would also like to thank JJ O’Driscoll’s, Ballinlough for the catering and the Orchard Bar, Ballinlough.
We wish to acknowledge Liam’s former work colleagues from Bourne’s Electronics and most recently An Post staff at Cork Mail’s Centre, Little Island who showed up in great numbers, to work colleagues in Cork City Council and to everyone who donated to Pieta House.
Lastly, we would like to acknowledge Liam’s great neighbours in Wallace’s Avenue and Beechwood Drive for their wonderful support, who were always great neighbours to Liam.

Liam’s First Anniversary Mass will be held in the Church at the back of St. Finbarr’s Hospital grounds, Douglas Road on Saturday 14th September at 7.15pm.
