The family of the late Liane Friedrich wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them during their recent sad loss. Thanks to all who visited the funeral home, attended Liane’s funeral service and cremation and all who phoned or wrote to offer sympathy and support. Sincere thanks to our own friends and colleagues, old and new, who travelled long distances and made great efforts to be with us. Heartfelt thanks also to all our friends from the Arklow Sailing Club and Arklow Rowing Club for your dignified guard of honour, such a lovely mark of respect, and for the kindness and support you continue to show to us all. To Mary Dillon, thank you for helping us to celebrate Liane’s life. Special thanks go to Niamh Byrne, David Tarrant and Pascal Ryan for their touching tributes. We'd also like to thank Sweeney’s Funeral Directors, in particular Niamh Sweeney, who went above and beyond, took care of us and helped make Liane’s send off so special. It was truly memorable. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
