ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND FIRST ANNIVERSARY

On this Lilian's First Anniversary her children Paul, Lisa, Yvonne, Lesley and the late Mark, her partner Jerome, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers, sisters and extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and supported us on our sad loss. Those who attended the visitation, the Mass, Burial, sent Mass cards. floral tributes and wreaths. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Cardiothoracic ward in CUH for your outstanding and gentle care and support for us as well as our mam Lilian in her final few days. Thank you to O'Connor's Bros Funeral Directors, North Gate Bridge for allowing us carry out Lilian's final wishes, for your empathy and your professionalism shown to us and our mam Lilian throughout. Thanks to the people who travelled long distances to be with us. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this Acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token our gratitude and appreciation.

God saw you were getting tired,
When a cure was not to be,
He closed His arms around you,
And whispered "Come to Me".

In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away;
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
It broke our hearts to see you go,
God only takes the best.
