LISA O’KEEFFE (nee McCARTHY),

Lisa’s husband Mark, her sons Ciaran, Denis and Danny, and her brothers, Peter (Salthill) and John (Glanmire) would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on Lisa’s sudden passing aged 56. We were very grateful for all the messages of support for us, whether in person, at the house, with mass cards, messages, and condolences online. We would like to pay special thanks to the Cork city emergency services who responded so swiftly, and to all those who helped in any way. Our cousin Fr Pat Stevenson, stayed at our side, guiding us through all of the services in the aftermath and was a tower of strength. The wider O’Keeffe, McCarthy, and Byron families as well as Lisa’s friends, neighbours, our work colleagues and her birth mother Sheila, have been a great source of support for us. Although Lisa is gone from us, leaving a hole in all our hearts, her kind and gentle soul is watching over us. May she rest in peace.
