Celebrating her Spirit
The family of Lucy Cronin would like to thank everyone
for their unbelievable support following her death.
To our wonderful neighbours and friends who stepped in and took over while we mourned the sad loss of our mother, Lucy, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We are truly grateful to all her wonderful friends, card players, musicians, acquaintances,
and well-wishers who attended the services, telephoned, sent flowers and cards,
and shared stories of connection.
Many thanks to the Bon Secours Hospital staff for their professional care.
Mammy felt such peace there during her final days surrounded by the Holy Statues.
A special thank you to our friend and funeral director, John Collins, for the detailed attention given to our beloved mother.
God’s Garden
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, “Peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
Lucy’s spirit is celebrated at mass on Sunday, January 28th at Kealkil Church at 10:30am.
