The parents, children, brothers and sisters of the late Luigi Forte, of 35 New Street Gardens, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following our devastating loss.

We offer heartfelt thanks to many of our extended family (Fortes and Gantleys), friends, neighbours and work colleagues. All those who visited our home and provided emotional support to us at such a difficult time.

For those who could not travel due to COVID-19 restrictions and those who sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence we are truly grateful.

A very special word of thanks to Luigi’s partner Amy, Polly and her family, Fr Bernard of Whitefriar Street Church, our work colleagues at the Royal College of Surgeons and Party City Ireland. Also O’Dwyer and Sons funeral directors for their sensitive and professional handling of the funeral arrangements and Lorraine Stevens and Geraldine Mckenzie Solicitors.

To those who helped in any way, your kindness and contributions made our loss more bearable as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
