The family of the late Madeline Cahill (nee Whelan) of main street Abbeyleix who died on 6th April 2018 would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who reached out to us, attended the wake, and attended Madeline's removal, funeral Mass & burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who texted, emailed, telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence, we are truly grateful.
A most sincere thank you to all those who kept a watchful eye on our Mum during her final years that facilitated her living in her own home, you may not realise the blessing you have been; to our friends who assisted in configuring our mothers home for the wake; to the Abbeyleix ICA for their Guard Of Honour; to the owners and staff of Benny’s for their kind hospitality; to all those who participated in the Mass including the late Father Cummins (RIP) and the Abbeyleix Choir; to Kelly’s funeral directors, for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
