The family of the late Madge Fahy, 12 Ardeskin Heights, Donegal Town, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us during our recent loss. We are deeply appreciative of the kindness, generosity, and unwavering support shown by our extended family, dear friends, and neighbours.

We are especially grateful to those who attended the Wake and Funeral, visited our home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, online condolences, and donations to the Donegal Community Hospital. A sincere thank you to those who travelled great distances to be with us. Hearing your stories and memories of Madge has brought us comfort and will always serve as a reminder of the amazing person she was.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Dagens of St. Patrick’s Church, and to musicians Emma Warren and Brian O’Sullivan for their special contribution to the celebration of Madge’s Funeral Mass. We are also sincerely grateful to Enda Faulkner of R. Faulkner & Son Funeral Directors for handling all arrangements with professionalism and compassion.

A special thank you to The Millpark Hotel, The Harbour Restaurant, The Abbey Hotel, Peter Campbell Catering, The Blueberry, McNulty’s XL, The Central Hotel, and all our family and friends who generously provided food and refreshments.

We would also like to acknowledge the exceptional care Madge received from the staff at Donegal Primary Care Centre, Letterkenny University Hospital, Beaumont Hospital, and Donegal Hospice throughout her illness. In particular,  we extend our deepest appreciation to the wonderful nurses and staff at Donegal Community Hospital, who cared for Madge with such dignity, kindness, and compassion in her final weeks. Your dedication to her comfort and well-being will never be forgotten.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this message as an expression of our sincere and lasting gratitude. Your kindness and support have given us great strength, and we will forever remember the love and generosity shown to us during this difficult time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Madge’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 1st of March at 6pm in St. Patricks Church, Donegal Town.
