Máire’s family wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time to support them through their recent sad loss.

Thank you to everyone who visited Máire’s home, attended her funeral Mass and burial,  sent Mass cards and floral tributes, letters and texts and to those who shared words of warmth and condolence online. Thank you to those who travelled long distances to be with us and to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Máire’s life online. Sincere thanks to our wonderful neighbours, friends and relatives for their incredible support and kindness, it was truly appreciated.

A very special word of thanks to Fr Aquinas Duffy for celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass, to all who participated in the Mass, to the wonderful singer and organist, the funeral ministry team, sacristan Jennifer, the cemetery team for preparing Maire’s final resting place and to Eugene Whelan for recording the ceremony for those who could not attend.

To the Bluebird care team both past and present, we would like to express our deep appreciation for the professionalism, care and love, that was shown to both Máire and ourselves as a family, it will always be remembered.

A heartfelt thank you to the ambulance crew and to the staff of St Vincent’s hospital for the great care, compassion and dignity shown to Máire. Thank you to all the team at Armstrong Life Pharmacy and Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery for their kindness and care over the years. Thank you to William Doyle Funeral Director for his professionalism, thoughtfulness and attention to detail at a very difficult time.

Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Máire’s Month’s Mind and her husband Patrick’s 18th anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday May 25th 2025 at 9am in St. Brigid’s Church, Kilbride A67 V621
