The family of the late Máirtín Mhurraí of Seanacomheas & Letter Mullen who passwd away on the 22nd March 2025 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sudden loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations to CROÍ, we will be forever grateful.

A special word of thanks to the incredible nurses and doctors in ICU at University Hospital Galway who cared for Máirtín in his final days.  We cannot thank you enough for the care and attention Máirtín received. To his GP, Dr. Miklos Penzes and his incredible staff, and also the PHN's who were always just a phone call away, and to his Home Help Carers, we appreciate all the support and care you provided to Máirtín. To our wonderful neighbours and close friends who looked after us during the funeral, we will be forever grateful to you, and we know how much Máirtín meant to you as well as to us. To the grave diggers who prepared Máirtín's final resting place, we appreciate you all, and to the musicians Áine & Michéal, thank you for your incredible music and songs, you touched our hearts. To Folan Undertakers, we thank you for your professionalism and care. To Connemara Catering & staff, we thank you for the delicious food after the funeral and to Tigh Lee for having us. And to Fr Loftus, we thank you for a beautiful service and for attending the wake, your support meant a lot.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
