Stella’s children Murt, Elizabeth, Patrick, Gerry & James, her brothers, sisters & all her family wish to extend our sincere thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support we received throughout our recent sad loss.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Stella's removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & those who couldn’t be present but joined us in the celebration of Stella’s life via webcam.
Our most sincere thanks to the wonderful staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for their exceptional care throughout Stella’s final days & for the continued care you bring to her husband Martin. Thanks also to Dr. Buggle, Dr. McCabe & all their team at Sheltonville Surgery for their care & assistance over the past few years.
To our own extended families, colleagues, friends & neighbours, we thank you for your continued support.
Special thanks to Fr. David Brough for his prayers, words of comfort & beautiful funeral Mass, to Fr Michael Murphy & the sacristy team at St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey for their warm welcome & to Karla Tracey & Bridget Kenny for their fabulous music.
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Old Ship for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Stella’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 11th February at 11.30am in Árus Lorcáin.
