We, the family of the late Peggy Martin, including her beloved husband of 60 years Paddy, would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the passing of our Mam.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many well-wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, funeral Mass and cremation. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent cards, flowers and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations to North Westmeath Hospice, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Leo & Sarah, James & Etaoin, Andy & Audrey and all other neighbours and friends of our family, for providing meals, sandwiches and cakes, and to Grainne for looking after JJ the dog throughout the period, it was greatly appreciated.
We would like to express our sincere thanks for all the care provided to our Mam by Prof Cadoo and her team, the nurses, doctors and staff of both St James' Hospital & Mullingar General Hospital, as well as Dr Brennan and his team. We especially want to extend our sincere gratitude to the North Westmeath Hospice Palliative Care Team for their care and compassion in the provisioning of all that was needed to ensure Mam could be cared for comfortably at home.
Our deepest gratitude to Fr Vincent Dakka and Fr Andrew of Mullingar Parish for their kindness at the blessing and funeral Mass. We would also like to thank soloist Maeve Coroon and organist G Lillis for their contribution to a beautiful Mass.
A sincere thank you to Tony Quinn of Gilsenan's Funeral Directors, Ian Fee of Lakelands Crematorium and Irene of Cavan Crystal Hotel for their sensitive and professional handling of both the funeral and catering arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude. You have provided emotional and practical support for us and your continued support has brought us immense comfort during this difficult time.
