 Margaret Egan
(née Heverin)

The Woods, Seabank, Arklow, Wicklow / Clonberne, Galway

Margaret’s husband Joe, children Laurenz, Shirley, Patrick & Marion & all her extended family wish to express their sincere appreciation for the kindness & support they received at the time of Margaret’s sad passing & in the weeks since. Many thanks to those of you who visited the funeral home, attended Margaret’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, phoned or wrote with kind words of sympathy & support & to all who donated to Tiglin Residential Treatment Centre in her memory.

To family, neighbours, friends & colleagues who travelled such great distances to offer condolences, support & to share in happy memories, we are eternally grateful.

Our heartfelt thanks to Professor Tim McDonald, Professor Charlie Gallagher & all the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital, to Deborah, Colette, Mary and Emma at Bluebird Care, to the Wicklow Palliative Care Team, to Dr. Emma Barry & Dr. Noleen Fortune at Maryville Surgery and Jacqui, Margaret’s daughter-in-law who was also her pharmacist and all the staff in Rathnew pharmacy for their wonderful care over the past two years.

Special thanks to Fr Brian McKittrick P.P., family friend Fr Tom Fogarty & to our cousins Fr. Joe, Fr. Jimmy & Fr. John Egan for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass. Thanks also to Karla Treacy & Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.

Thank you to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel & the Woodenbridge Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason Porter for tending to the grave. To all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for their professionalism & kindness. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Margaret’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at a future date given the current circumstances.
